I went to Guildford with two people from St Michaels Church and then returned to Kingston with them. This meant that after taking a train and No 93 bus I was at Morden at 1525 to catch a No 413 to Sutton Garage.

The next bus to arrive |
The bus route begins from the opposite side of the road to the Underground station whilst the bus itself layed-over in the bus terminus outside the station. At 1535 Electric London General's See56 arrived and at 1536 we were off down the A24 until Merton town hall where the bus turned right and then left along Crown Lane to reach South Merton station at 1540.
The bus arriving to pick me up. Its was a wet afternoon and taking photographs en-route was quite tricky |
Running down Martin Way we passed a church and then went left along Cannon Hill Lane where we were the only route serving the road. At the end of this trip through inter war housing we reached Grand Drive where the bus joined other routes as it turned left at 1548. At the Beverley roundabout we took Tudor Drive to Stonecot where we left the London Borough of Merton and entered the London Borough of Sutton.

At 1553 we were back on the A24 heading WSW through to the turning at Gander Green Lane where the bus turned left at 1556 and for a short while was on its own. This was apparently in places a park and ride section, although it wasn't mentioned on the bus. Across the Sutton Bypass and staying on Gander Green lane we were then on our own all the way to Cheam Road which was reached at 1608. We turned left here, joining other routes to travel to the civic centre following left along St Nicholas Way.

At Crown Road the bus turned left and via Collingwood Road made its way to Bushey Road and terminated outside Sutton bus garage at 1616.
